To accomplish this without having to pay the additional foreign filing fees you would just nest the properties into land trusts.Land trusts are also very functional because they will streamline your investments for estate planning, add an additional layer of anonymity/privacy when formed by a knowledgeable attorney and allow you to retain favorable financing options.This is not legal advice, just my opinion as a real estate investor.

I checked the city code that privacy fence on back yard doesn't need a permit.However, our HOA requires us to submit a request along with the plot plan.I am fine with that but I couldn't find the any plot plan in the closing documents.

I recently installed a pool in my backyard and am fortunate that the yard backs up to a wooded area and a creek, so I don't have to worry about privacy issues at the rear of my property (fencing is not allowed in our subdivision).On the other side of the creek is a vacant lot which has been for sale for years.
