@Shahar Joseph  a support dog (probably an emotional support dog) you cannot legally refuse however you can have a policy for documentation of a need by a qualified professional and you cannot charge for and ESA.  

It does not have to be financial, it coujld be also emotional and they might feel relieved selling it to you.

I'm not at all a fan of cultured marble countertops because random soaps and products can discolor and damage them, and the 80s swirl is so out, but I've had good luck with shower surrounds and tubs.

#1  Tenants/Contractors/Neighbors, etc will stir emotions in you that you didn't know you had. 

My advice for the process would be to present facts, not emotions.

Don't get emotionally attached.

In the future I will use the math to remove the emotion from my decision making.

Mostly I learned not to get too emotionally attached to a property.
