I received a hot lead from a motivated seller who wants out of her house for the following reasons:- Seller cannot cover mortgage alone so abusive daughter lives with seller to help pay mortgage (daughter arrested for domestic abuse)- Seller is elderly and medically disabled (low income)Any advice on how to help?

There are A LOT of rules protecting victims of domestic violence and I don't claim to be an expert in them, but those are definitely the kind of questions that could leave you open to trouble if she is a victim and you end up choosing not to rent to her. - While you shouldn't push her for personal details, you should have a good long conversation with her to see if she wants to "volunteer" information.

Possible, but odd.I am no attorney, but in some circumstances with documentation they can get out of the lease with the domestic violence clause. 

I had one couple call to rent and she had left one of my other units because of a domestic with a roommate, no way she is moving into a unit with her boyfriend, that was one call I didn't return.
