For an off the wall hypothetical scenario, lets say he gets disappeared in the desert over gambling debts, happens in Vegas right, and she isn't on the lease, you have one less person to collect from and need to evict if she doesn't pay.

If you're in the "desert of CA", and they have the AC set at 60 you could have some enormous bills.Go over and do an inspection to make sure nothing's amiss, like grow lights and pot plants.
