I would in a normal course of a rehab replace cast iron lines on the interior of the home and basement if they are accessible and if I already have a plumber there doing work as those are cheap and easy to replace at that time.

Same for a collapsed sewer pipe - they won't pay for the repair to the pipe, but they do need to pay for the damages caused to access that pipe like removing flooring, drywall, concrete, etc.

My issue (one of many) with my current PMC is that they have failed to get me even a single tenant in almost a year now and keep telling me that they don’t understand what the problem is, but literally 30 minutes after I started advertising my units myself, an eligible tenant responded to my own add.
