We have slowly upgraded the property by adding in a new driveway, walkway, new duct work under the house, updated the landscaping for curb appeal, installed recessed lighting and ceiling fans throughout the house and repainted all the interior rooms.

Furnace goes bad, you switch it out, chimney goes bad, easy to line it, the brick's modern and hard and so is the mortar, gas lines are minimal and limited to basement and kitchen above at worst, and all the interiors are finished using materials and measurements easily compatible with more modern housing.

It then takes 6 months detailing out the plumbing, electrical, hvac, interior walls and finish, cabinets, fixtures, flooring, paint etc.The metal shell is a hindrance unless you really want to tow it around ...alot, as even some trailer rv's use wood framing.
