Marketers say people have a short attention span and don't want to work.

CONTRACTORS HAVE LIFE SPANS.

If you make 100k but it takes 3 years to make it that is a 30k year return on your time.If you make 100k in a 3 month span that is a whole other return on investment.When I look at syndicating I have to make a certain amount of money for my time overseeing the project.

I was originally planning on "house hacking" when my search span was within LA but if it's a better investment choice to buy properties outside of LA (which is what I'm seeing and leaning toward) I'm perfectly content renting for myself in LA.

But when I lived in Seattle proper, my old apartment went from $850 a month to $1,400 a month in the span of 4 years or so.

If a roof costs 15K and has a life span of 15 years, replacing it 3-5 years early is giving away 3K-5K.

Does that mean I could sell 30 homes per year spanning 3 x 10 different and unique entities, and not need to be dodd frank compliant?

Otherwise turnover is very hectic with all students moving in/out in roughly a week time span.
