Does any one have any advise on boot camp style training seminars to help me understand how to acquire, Improve, and hold these types of Investments

That's what an agent does in the process & should be the only thing they do.I might catch grief for the last comment but whenever you invest & are unsure of something you should employ the person trained in the specific area.

I will work to "train" them and avoid this moving forward.

I guess my concern is trying to train myself to think like an investor.

The company that sells the training materials is a subsidiary of a Real Estate company.  

These are professionals with additional training and a stricter code of ethics.
