Excess idle capital you can put to work in income producing properties. 

An eviction will likely cost you in excess of $5K so if you can get them out for less than that, it might be worth a try. 

If there's a language barrier and hearing barrier, plus the "old and I don't give a damn" barrier, a social worker or family member in the home are usually the only people that can resolve such issues without an excess of emotion.
