I've got great credit but my real estate agent seemed doubtful that anyone would refinance given the current climate and now I'm a little worried I'm going to get stuck holding the bag with the hard money lender if we aren't able to refinance out after the rehab.Thanks so much!

*grins  Just be aware that could possibly affect your resale value down the road.From what I have seen (I toured a modular home plant near Elkhart, IN) and read in various trade magazines, modular homes are very well built, surpassing stick built homes in many cases due to a controlled climate and environment during manufacturing.

The fact is the long term trends of a shortage of affordable housing is only increasing, in any market climate, so MHP is probably just as attractive today as it was one month ago (same for multifamily).Of course, I do hope this current disruption flushes some money out of the system so prices can contract a bit and there’s less buyer competition.
