You should be eligible for a homeowners tax exemption of some sort.

I have to say that the experience has been positive so far, with a few negative items such as the evolution of home prices and how expensive has become living on this state.At some point during this period I had a complicated health issue and I ended up getting into a lot of debt to pay for my medical bills.

If they had medical bankruptcy or lost their job for a while,  and they can prove current income,  they are in.  

Before I started learning from BP and some other places about 5 years ago after having a couple major medical problems that made me bedridden ever since I turned 54 (I'm now 61) I have spent most of my time learning about real estate investment but I would like to hear about Partnerships and raising money to invest in real estate.

On paper the initial numbers look great but some of the properties I looked at do not allow for investors or have requirements that the owner must live in the property for a year and then only allow the unit to be rented for a maximum of three years without requesting a hardship exemption from the community association.

Desirability in SA seems to be heavily driven by school ratings for family homes, and proximity to the bases or medical center for smaller units (condos or apts).

I owned a flooring company for about 5 years before I had some medical problems that left me bedridden for about 71/2 years.
