@Ian Kisbert sometimes the loan type you used to purchase the property will require an appraisal (Hard Money for example) but not always.

Hi @Ian Kisbert, in my experience the source of the funds will need to be verified if it is a conventional loan but not necessarily if it is a commercial loan (which stays on the books of the local bank or lender you are dealing with to provide the primary loan on the property).
