If it's anonymity someone wants, they should take tips from Gene Hackman's character in "Enemy of the State," not be the principal in a legally registered entity.Suing someone as an individual and suing them as the manager of an entity are two, totally separate things.

In my area, they limit the unit density, so it's nice to know that nobody can come in and convert a bunch of old homes to 3+ units and kill the rental market.I like old homes as they tend to have a lot of character that you can't find in newer construction, but they can definitely be a lot more costly to do repairs if they weren't properly updated/converted over the years.

But mid-century buildings are a nice compromise between strength & "character" (which I really think helps sell leases).Older buildings have a higher possibility of deferred maintenance, of course, but it's really the maintenance or lack thereof, not so much the age, that makes the difference.
