If you want to create a large portfolio, cash is going to delay you immensely.

I took stagecraft, African drumming, the history of music, and many more just to get "credits" And no, my major did not involve anything that resembles these classes in anyway shape or form.

Hi Bhekizwe,I see you are from Africa,(this is a serious question)Traditional African houses (Huts) would seem to cost very little to construct compared to European type houses of milled lumber.[1] Does anyone build (for example) 100 huts and then rent them out.

Theres to many to list, that's why I recommend immense amount of reading, you'll find the pitfalls have been discussed ALOT here on the forum..FWIW my 1st few were challenging & I lost some $, but that's the price of education.

You have to want something immensely in order to feel the motivation and not get discouraged when obstacles occur. 

I do like to provide some extra items which guests appreciate immensely: my welcome basket has some instant oatmeal pouches, granola bars, microwave popcorn and a couple of little chocolates and some fresh fruit.

I feel my energy expanding and I'm feeling the return immensely.

Long story short, my husband worked at Dartmouth, 20 years ago--and I swore to never come back...there were no or very very little hair care products for African Americans in Hanover/Lebanon back then...Anyway, I earned my doctorate in psychology, became a licensed clinical psychologist and yearned for wide open spaces and a place to do my art--I now work for a distance learning institution (work from home) and my husband is back working at Dartmouth.
