Every time we tell family about it they don't show any enthusiasm about it and we always get the comments like, "I could never do that" and "I don't want to be unclogging toilets at 2 in the morning"  And they never want to hear what it is really like. 

I love the enthusiasm and optimism but don't forget the first rule of investing.

He also has attended our local BP meetup with me when it didn't conflict with school.I'm not going to lie, I think the treat of Starbucks is part of the draw but whatever it takes to stoke that enthusiasm is fine with me.  

Currently your enthusiasm for Real Estate is illusory, I wouldn't make any big decisions until that interest is actually fleshed out in practice.  

While it is encouraging that most people posting are getting their rents for April (we are expecting most to come in as well), I would temper enthusiasm as I think the real test is going to be in future months. 

@Devin Mann I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I am going to highly recommend not taking this avenue to solicit business.

Going into this with high hopes and plenty of newbie enthusiasm, which means I’m probably going to get a lot of “experience “.
