I just closed today on the sale of the second house and have ended the nightmare!

A few years ago there were a lot of get rich quick types, and I still get contacted by people who think they can buy 2 houses and retire on the cashflow. 

I have an LLC which holds a 505k mortgage on a house in the Hudson Valley that I currently rent out on Airbnb.

So back to being a real estate investor: the only way to be one is to buy a property and create value out of it, whether through finding a below market value house and selling for a profit, or renting and creating cash flow.  

Purchase price: $341,000 Cash invested: $136,000 Sale price: $519,000 A house that I bought, renovated, and sold.

I was broke enough that I couldn't afford rent at my apartment, but fortunately my landlord didn't notice, thanks in part or in whole due to some substance abuse issues.Anyways, when visiting my mom in the neighborhood where I grew up, I had noticed this construction van at a house on our street.

Would like confirmation on that though.For Solara, there seems to be no restrictions but a lot of houses for sale. 

Wish they would build houses with this style of architecture still.
