Seems like if you can put together a well appointed place you can pull some pretty serious weekly rental rates. 

If you are within a few days of closing, or even 4, 5 or  6 days, you may want to call the escrow officer handling the closing and ask them if you can schedule your closing appointment, review a copy of the ALTA Statement, and if they are aware of any delays or issues with your closing.

Should I even bother making an appointment with these leads?

I would get an appointment to inspect the property personally.

Update: I learned the hard way many of the solar ads want your phone number so they can start cold calling homeowners for estimates and appointments.

I am having my VA call to set up appointments for me to call back motivated commercial sellers.

and looked up eviction history. 3 cases, 2008, 2009 and recent 2011.Called the attorney my co-workers highly recommended and tried to move my appointment with him to an earlier date.

Can I appoint a sponsor to represent this transaction, while myself and the investor stay out of view of the underwriting team? 

we are working with Chase... all good as of now... just schedule several appointments on several branches... some may deny your bank account don't get discouraged....
