Looking forward to become an investor full time joined BP a while ago, however just became a pro to take all of PRO member advantages, I can see that most of the BP members are focused on investing in the US (a few other investors from other regions).

If you believe these tenants will stay in the region, then go for it.

We are currently looking at several states in the Mid-West Region.

Unable to find a lot of information regarding this region so I am hoping I can get a few bites, or at least some useful advice along the way.

If anyone has had a positive experience with an appraiser in that region in the recent past, please send me a note.

they are regional  my banks were all right here in Oregon I know they only do it for loans in their footprint you need to check with NEW YORK banks or where ever it is you want to lend.
