Whenever the economy tanks, leisure, travel, and restaurants are the first to go.

One of the notes was on a building housing a restaurant in southern Colorado and another was a retail store in the mountains of Colorado.  

@Scott Heinze if there are no restaurants or apartments, there are so many insurance carriers who will want to take a shot at this.  

Can anyone recommend a tax attorney or CPA who is extremely knowledgeable with Mexican tax law? 

@Yvonne ShuiHi Yvonne,I own 3 Buildings in Bed-Stuy, All 3 Family, 2 are Brownstones and 1 is a brick building.The one closest to where you are buying is probably going to be on Hancock and Thompkins or on Greene Ave and Throop.I think the most important thing about buying in Bed-Stuy right now is to make sure you get a professional tenant with high income and high savings to weather the Coronavirus Storm.Last Month, one of my tenants at the Greene Ave/Throop location gave me notice as she closed her Williamsburg restaurant and needed to leave, moving in with her bf.Her apt is a Garden Apt, Large 1 Bedroom with a Laundry in Unit.I decided to get a quick renter that has been qualified and I advertised the apt for only $2,500 per month.

Lots of restaurants / shops nearby. 

As I mentioned in another thread- I was in the hardware store 2 days ago and I listened to a restaurant owner boast about the profit he made in March and looking forward to April.

I saw on Bloomberg that Tillman Fertitta is raising money at 15% to reopen his restaurants and the Golden Nugget. 

The prospective property is located in URBANIZED PLANNED DISTRICT and just within .5 mile to main highway and surrounded by restaurants and stores.

She suggests that you partner up with 3 LOCAL food trucks/restaurants so it covers a wide range of palettes and offers your guests a variety.
