There's a saying I remember that goes if you want to ruin Christmas let a family member borrow money in June.If you have to borrow money from friends or family make sure you both agree that it's just business and have an agreement for what you will do if the money doesn't come back the way you planned or doesn't come back at all.That way everyone can prepare themselves for the worse and there's less likely to be hard feelings because it was already planned for if things went sideways.That's my thoughts, I hope it helps and good luck!

Things I want to do in the next year are:1) Save money (do this anyways)2) Read Read Read- been reading this blog, realestateinyourtwenties.com, books and more books. 3) Connecting with people via internet- I could have some interviews and meetings with people as early as Christmas break when I visit home, thanks to my Uncle who is already successful in the DFW area. 4) Possibly get my Real Estate salesperson license- This is more of a question.

I had to have the service updated and by the time I secured the electrician and he performed the work, it was 48 hours.The first thing I did was immediately offer my tenant a hotel room (it was right before Christmas) although they declined and stayed with family, I was prepared to put them up.The 2nd thing I did was offer the neighbor money to plug my tenants fridge into a heavy duty exterior extension cord through his garage.
