What to do for the next year?
I have one more year of my Master's degree in Miami before I move back to Dallas. I know 100% I want to get involved with Real Estate in Dallas, but that's a year away. Things I want to do in the next year are:
1) Save money (do this anyways)
2) Read Read Read- been reading this blog, realestateinyourtwenties.com, books and more books.
3) Connecting with people via internet- I could have some interviews and meetings with people as early as Christmas break when I visit home, thanks to my Uncle who is already successful in the DFW area.
4) Possibly get my Real Estate salesperson license- This is more of a question. I've seen a lot of 5 week courses through online schools. Would it be wise to get it now, or at least take the classes, knowing that me moving to Dallas is a whole year away? I want to approach my networking with as much of a "I'm serious because I'm doing ______" as I can.
Is there anything else I can do? I'm eager to get started.
Thanks in advance.
