First, even if I find a wholesaler, why would they sell to me--an untested REI--when they can sell to their all-star buyers list, particularly if those buyers closed 50/50 of the last deals, pay all cash, and show up and write a check.

My guess is there is a real GC on site at these properties managing the project while the star is going from house to house filming segments here and there for the show.

Hey Myron,My husband is a builder here in Atlanta.Actually he does free lance estimating for hospitality contractors, folks renovating 4 & 5 star hotels.Seems like we got bit by the same bug as you did.I've been hanging around BP for the past couple of months & really digging in & have learned a ton.We went Pro last night - yay!!
