The second is really solid blue-chip type investments and AAA-rated bonds, etc. stuff that unlikely to drop 50% in a stock market downturn.

@Mike Kelly we have offices in 7 markets and are expanding all the time: Smokies in TN, Blue Ridge, Ga, Gulf Shores, AL, Galveston/Crystal Beach, TX, Emerald Coast, FL, Forgotten Coast, FL, and outside Orlando 

@Shiloh Lundahl  Since they are smaller cities I was thinking areas closer to blue collar jobs will have more of a demand, I feel if I can find a spot where there is decent and steady income being made I  can have a better chance of lowering vacancy.

Obviously, blue collar, university, and urban areas attract more renters than others and that does not change no matter where you are in the country.
