I see the value proposition when your in a resort area and simply not enough hotel rooms..

Jerry, please note that based on the info in this thread, I can assume you are very new and as such, starting out with acquisitions at the trustee sale here in CA would likely be a failing proposition for you or anyone in your shoes.

Hi all, In my opinion we should bring back proposition 58.

If were to I proposition 1000 supermodels, eventually I would get 1 to date me. 

After receiving my down payment back in 12 months, and receiving cash flow of about $25k annually ( my share, after debt service), I sold my half to my partners family for $150,000.It is a higher risk proposition, but as Bob Dylan sang “ when you ain’t got nothing, you’ve got nothing to lose”.

Given today's interest rate environment I am not that interested in paying full value because that is a losing proposition rental-wise, so I am trying to find a way to make it work by working in some other advantages.

Frankly, doing any kind of real estate investing around rentals is a sketchy proposition around here.

If that's the only way a property makes money (or breaks even), it's a losing proposition in the world of "investing".
