Hello All,I'm a young designer looking ahead at my career and wondering if there is a more profitable path for me outside of the traditional architectural practice.

Atypically that's way to small a project for an experienced builder or developer to even think about jv'ing.Find a builder who will work on tiny projects and also does in house architectural.

The property needed a complete rehab, and after an inspection it was noted that their had been some internal architectural work to revamp the layout in order to add bedrooms to the 12 3/2 units.  

I have an associates degree in architectural and engineering design and a few years working for an architecture firm as well as a bachelors degree in construction management. 

@Carrie Giordano The trim is called half-timbering, a classic feature on Tudor architecture, as are the clipped gables.

When I was looking at the architectural drawings I didn't think I would be a fan of the floor plans, but once we got inside the units I really liked them.

Architecture requirements?

Short story: I'm researching and training for real estate investing and my wife holds a master of architecture degree from USC.

We deal a lot with old houses and creative architecture (new builds, additions)... most of the time, investors are doing rehabs that fall under the general category of 'big dumb box with the minimal possible creativity and cost' =)
