I read a few books about multifamily but still feel I have a few part missing in the puzzle. 

Of course there is another piece of the puzzle you aren't telling us - what is your strategy?

It puzzles me how lawyers and others think one has to be a lawyer to understand this stuff. 

I think master subleasing could be a piece of the puzzle, but I personally wouldn't make it my focus.

They also complained about the "lack of promised amenities," citing that there was no iron available, which is puzzling because I pride myself on a well-stocked space.Here's the kicker: in my unit, I maintain a comprehensive guest book with detailed instructions on everything, including how to use the coffee maker (which was brand-new) and where to find the iron (in the wardrobe, on the top shelf, clearly labeled).

@Mindy Jensen I like puzzles that makes you think like chess, soduko, mystery video games.
