You have be EPA licensed to legally install a/c units and since the equipment is so expensive you really don't want an amateur doing that work.

I own a few million in real estate investments and another few hundred k in syndication deals, but I'd still consider myself an amateur in this space.

I have no problem paying for a mentor if I know it's going to save me years of headache and a lot of money from making amateur mistakes.

There was a time I was into amateur boxing, had a very strict diet.

So yeah, I will leave my passion for pizza unadulterated by worldly standards and keep it to a strictly avid amateur until I retire. at that point, I might start a local pizza place just to have something to do, but not care whether I make money or not and do it to break even and have people smile and groan about my pizza.
