I’m trying to figure out what the typical tax reduction is for turning a ny home into a producing farm by merging with an adjacent orchard?

They have told me how much they like the house.My question: They have asked for a 5% reduction in rent PLUS they want to get a dog.  

In the past when I can get much of a price reduction it is amazing what adding a $1000 broker bonus for a limited time does for the listing!

So in my operating agreement, I guess I wasn't distinguishing between ownership & equity vs voting rights and gave them the same weight. 

Post office getting rent reduction in option period is not good.

@Jaysen Medhurst If you are a buy and hold investor the potential of 15% reduction in the deferral and the 100% non taxability of any appreciation after 10 years allows you to sell the property and have no tax.

That said, I believe that the profitability of short term rentals will continue to decrease until maybe only the industry heavy weights or the owner occupants can stay afloat.
