Is the bigger pockets point system random...?

I am curious on how the rating system for bigger pockets works. My rating on forum to forum or my profile in general seems to fluctuate drastically. Does anyone have insight onto what dictates your scoring system?

Is it amount of posts? Quality of Posts? Likes? How much are each of them weighted?

I am starting to believe it is like the south park episode where they use a headless chicken to determine what action the government should take for each of the companies that bankrupt.

(See this link for the south park reference but BE ADVISED EXPLICIT content!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wz-PtEJEaqY)
