Well, in that you really lose everything.At a lower level, a personal liability suit can hit you for more than the property is worth, the risks you mentioned are very minor compared to the possibilities.Don't intend to scare you off, but in RE you are dealing with the public, you are a provider, a supplier of services, you take on legal and social responsibilities unlike being a consumer in the stock market.
