Thank God because I'm watching deals slip through my fingers on a daily basis. 

Yet they'd go right up the ferrets' cage where the dang thing would then attempt to remove any of their fingers that would be close to its' mouth.I suppose it was the difference between a cute little furry (but deadly) critter and that "horrible" but totally harmless snake.Often the issue with pets and tenants is that,  like the rest of us (hopefully!)

I'm personally an avid reader of PoPville, but I'm sure there are tons of other, more creative ways to keep a finger on a neighborhood's pulse without necessarily being there every day.
