I came across a seller (widow) that presented a pretty complicated situation and I am trying to determine if there is something I am not aware of that could make this deal work. 

I am a widow being that I lost my husband last year.My husband was a serving director of the Cocoa exporting board until his death .He was assassinated last january by the rebels following the political uprising.

Let's leave out the fact that the owner is a 92 yr old widow on fixed income, that this is her only building and it represents more than half of her income...I would have to investigate, but I've gotta believe this service is legal and code.

"I've had several speakers bail on me after making commitments to participate"That's unfortunate.They should have never made a commitment they can't keep.That is bad business.My mom who is widowed now tells me the story every now and then of honoring your commitment.Her father would tell her that if she made a commitment and a guy asked her out in high school and she accepted that later on that week if a guy asked that she wanted to go out more with she would have to decline.

Many of these houses would likely sale fail and get foreclosed if they were put on MLS.This most recent deal has been interesting and difficult.Owner is widowed 50 year old and wants to stay in home he raised his family in.  

I hear there is an elderly widow who still owns a house.

You probably won't believe this, but yes, this is a true story...Back in my realtor days I was given a lead to a widow who lived about 45 mins away in a private community in horse country. 

In the situation surrounding this particular house, however, there's no widow in despair.

We are working with a widow and currently gathering data.

The furniture and car belonged to the widow that died.
