Can you explain what the benefit is to a property owner to have a literal stranger sublet their house to a whole bunch of other strangers and pocket the difference in rent?

In the advertisement on BP podcast they exclaim that they will drive up the rentals and that you will have a low vacancy rate. this is 100% true. i have been booked solid since may. however. last month it cost me $500 to let strangers stay in my house and this month i might break even.

That said, I honestly don't see a correction coming; but stranger things have happened.Rent - it could be challenging to rent anything in Hazel Green for over 1600/month, when you can get a solid 4 bedroom in Madison or Huntsville for 1600 to 2000 right now.
