If they can afford to pay the monthly rent payments, they could drag on the case for a while if they go in pro-se.

I found a lot of prose about CRTs on the internet, but I can't make decisions based on prose.

In my experience, finding an attorney knowledgeable on the subject is more difficult than its worth.I’d rather handle these cases myself “Pro Se”.Fortunately, I do have both the stomach, and aptitude for litigation  .I understand and enjoy both reading and researching the law.And I enjoy the argument of live court even more. 

There are lots of forms available online, but as in my case when using those forms I realized pretty soon they were a complete waste as they were not fit for my state specific eviction process, and did nothing but get my tenants a free week. if you are evicting pro se go to the courthouse speak to the clerk and they will instruct you as well as give you the proper paperwork.

To be honest, some of the worst files are Pro Se cases where the homeowner represents themselves.

You might want to contact your local community legal services to see if they can offer you any legal assistance; dealing with bankruptcy is a complicated matter and probably not for pro se / DIY.
