You can purchase Radiator screens if you are worried about it. 

The radiator components are falling off, the window nets are slashed, and the kitchen cabinets are scratched and chipped.I have a security deposit ($1600) from the tenant, but I’m afraid this will not be enough to cover the damages.

@David FernandezTechnically your boiler is an HVAC system (heating), but I gather you are contemplating replacing the hydronic heat with forced air.If the property is in an environment where there is a significant cooling season, then the extra cost of switching to a central air handler (i.e. heat pump w/ ancillary gas for additional heat), removing the radiators and lines and installing ductwork may make longterm sense.If there is not a significant cooling season, then it would be far more economical to replace your old boiler with a new high-efficiency condensing gas boiler (~95% efficient).  

if you switch to hotwater, then you'll probablty need to switch out your radiators/baseboards.Just thought I'd throw some more info out there. 

If there are certain places you are hearing it more loudly, like by your radiator or the entry way I can help you put the rug pad I bought under your rug to help muffle some of it where it seems loudest and 2.)
