The kids were grabbing toys, playing with them, and tossing them around, leaving a messy trail wherever they went.

Because that's where you want to get a laser focus on when it comes to researching, training, podcasts etc.

So I am just focusing on renting them, repairing some units, making they are all shipshape, and then going to laser focus on getting 20 units while building a team of like minded people.

In other words, the person with the most toys, wins... not the person who paid the least amount of tax.

Another option we've toyed with is saving to buy our next primary residence in a few years and converting our current home into the long term rental.

Honestly, I see so many new investors who are laser focused on a very specific thing (mid term rentals for travelling nurses) that they can't see the forest for the trees.

Do you have  a While Life policy you can take a loan out, although I’m totally against them.Do you have paid off cars or toys you can hock?

Maybe put up a barrier between hotub and his camera.Plant trees along your fence line, etc.If there is nothing one can do about a neighbor camera pointed at there pool..... well then there isn't a thing the neighbor can do about pointing a laser-pointer into the lens of that camera and blinding it....

One way I have used to find these issues is to use a self leveling laser and mark places at the same level around the space, then measure from there to the floor to determine where it is higher or lower.
