What doesn't grow there is fortitude.

The success story is freedom to enjoy the simple things, and everyone here can achieve that with the focus and fortitude.

People were afraid- after a collapse, would you really have the fortitude to make a purchase?

Do you have the intestinal fortitude to stomach these times?

There is a lot that can go wrong and lenders want someone on the hook with the financial fortitude to carry the deal if things go sideways. 

If it's a C, needs a little work, and not in a great area, and you have the fortitude and connections to do so, you find an older biker (one not so much active) or a rather large individual - whoever it is, background check them to make sure they don't have violent felonies.

You need a lot of patience and fortitude to play here. 

Dealing with these situations is more about emotional fortitude than anything else. 

We live in a mobile society - I've worked with Oracle DBA's that live on farms 2 hours away from the city, I work with people that live thousands of miles away in other countries (Ireland, India, etc.).It's all about wanting to make it happen....having the "testicular fortitude" to take the steps to buy that house and live on your own independently.Then again, if I can make $80k per year as an Oracle DBA and still sponge off Mom and Dad, then why not?

I make a decent living as an LT and with a little extra research, effort, and intestinal fortitude I'm gradually progressing as an effective manager of 6 units.
