For the properties about 2 hours away zip codes I was looking into for the <100K home include 54935 - 54936 (Fond Du Lac, WI), and 54901 - 54906 (Oshkosh, WI).

(We see a lot of clients do this like these two, and if I were in your situation this is what I'd do, but that's only because I'm only so fond of other humans and don't want roommates.)

@Jade Chau I'm fond of Cranston in general, but some parts, particularly near Providence, can get a bit dicey.As far as "safe", nothing is completely safe or completely unsafe.
