Some folks had really nasty childhoods and family lives that resulted in poor choices from the teenage years into their twenties .

The extra bathroom for the kid entering their teenage years (1 hour per morning in the bathroom = needs own bathroom), shorter commute for your wife (happy wife = happy life), bigger yard for your dog, you get the idea.

My stepmother has done commercial real estate for at least 40 years, and not a day goes by I don't regret learning everything I could from her about real estate starting as a teenager, but the less time I spend regretting the "woulda-coulda-shoulda" , then the more time I have to find, facilitate, and proceed with projects.I currently work in IT for so I am grateful to work from home in a position where I can research, learn, and scout out potential projects while working my 9-5. 

Try to find an isolated beach spot; When I was a teenager I knew a handful of beach  spots that would have no one in sight.Even with the short-comings, I would be hard pressed to choose a location in the US I would choose over it (maybe Santa Barbara area) even if I did not have the personal attachments.

The first tenants were fairly nice tenants, mom and her two kids (both teenagers) who were very helpful, showed us around their place and got us upstairs (vacant) access; however, both complained consistently about the previous (still current?)

I think of the teenage mutant ninja turtles when I hear that .

I probably looked like a teenager checking social media all the time, but was in fact doing real estate business by phone while shampooing minivan carpets. 

So I have one room, my teenage sons share a room and I would have 2 renters in the other rooms.

I have always been fanscinated by real estate since I was a teenager.
