So from funding balt city row houses to loudoun county :)Yeah it’s funny even on a personal level I lived in D.C. last year and the crime while I was never a victim there were probably at least a half dozen shootings within a few blocks a my apartment (which was literally across from where the nats play, a good part of town) and literally so many car jackings I lost count, eventually at the end of the year I was like I’m not paying 3k a month to have constant shootings next door, I’ve ended up for a variety of reasons spending at town of time on the eastern shore, and I kind of realized this is walkable & safe & affordable, I kind of think small towns are the future.  

Unfortunately, I have quickly realized the mortgage is much too steep a payment to promote a net positive cashflow even with all rooms rented.

I also realize I will be put into a higher tax bracket and be taxed as income. 

The number of inquiries I get about investment vacation condos in Myrtle Beach is truly astounding. 99% of them back off after they realize it's not simple.

I do realize there are exceptions and some sub to may offer low down payment but I suspect by the time you limit to sub to and low down, you are likely at 0.1% of offerings.

They're not going to waste their time helping foreigners knowing that many will end up not buying.I'm happy to refer you to my lawyer once you have found a property but it's better that you choose one in the region and province you're going to invest in as there could be "legal" differences pertaining to you.On another note, it's important that you realize that strategies that work in the US might not work in Spain and financing is different so you might want to figure out first if that works for you first to make sure you don't waste time and money unnecessarily.Hope this helps.

Couldn't say it better @Michael Baum.They don't seem to realize that Barcelona is a world city and that in world cities prices for living in the center go up.
