One guy is painting the entire interior, installing marble tile flooring throughout the house, built a wood fence (even though it had a chain link fence) and pouring a new driveway!

@Brie Schmidt does your state have any statues requiring tenants to deposit with-held rent with the court.

Almost all have stainless appliances, granite, marble floors, etc.

I have seen  people turn an everyday average "carpet, paint, baseboards needed" into a full blown new custom kitchen with soap stone counters and marble floors throughout and wonder why and how they spent $60K when I told them it was $15-20K tops for the neighborhood.

You will need to look for your states statues on this. 

In addition, I saw where there is a statue that allows for a deposit (does not say if the deposit is refundable) of $10 per lien or $250 in total to bid on all liens in a county.
