It is disgusting that Airbnb is arbitrarily taking from owners to refund some of these guests while they are SIMULTANEOUSLY DENYING refunds filed under the insurance that Airbnb sold to the vacationer.It’s apparently all on the greedy rich homeowner.  

Over the past year, I’ve applied for a PLOC a couple of times with banks like Wells Fargo and Suntrust that advertise unsecured PLOCs up to 100k (plenty for my market) and I keep getting denied.

I think it's too soon to see real estate fluctuate but there is no denying the charts and graphs: things remain steady and active. 

You can get insurance but there’s always fine print and loopholes for them to deny and cancel coverage.

Do you feel this sole issue is a good reason to deny a person's rental application? 

I read that several times and didn’t see anything from Airbnb about why they are continuing to deny trip insurance claims for refunds for cancellations due to CV-19 purposes - the very insurance that THEY marketed and sold to guests.I guess Airbnb exempts themselves from “extenuating circumstances.”  

My general insurance denied my claim because it wasn’t over my deductible at least the part that wasn’t the city code issue, which wasn’t covered.  

I feel like they may just deny them for now out for necessity, but I'm worried that it may be much harder to get loans in the near future for investors.

I actually had to deny 3 applicants.
