Setting your bid as back up costs nothing, so all offers should be backup!!!

Hello BP Family,I've targeted a property to move forward on bidding. 

If it's the latter, the online auction sites start the bids low as a teaser in order to get competition and more bids.  

I am interested in bidding on a property, I just pulled the title report for the property and it has couple of judgements from Child support services and 1 small claims. 

As practice, I'd love to crunch the numbers and come up with a price I think is fair, then compare that to the winning bid at the end.

His work bid is consistently lower than the other contractors that bid the work and he includes more in his scope of work. 

My bid for wiring the two units is about $10K and then there are some additional charges for the external panels, the garage, etc.

I have a need to bid some reno work on a triplex.  

You'll probably have to compensate them for their time (something like $100) as you do not own the property nor have it under contract and GC's do not like having their time wasted with individuals who are simply seeking free bids and won't use them or are looking for a free tutorial.

I would not try to reduce your bid by the demo cost as it could cost you the entire deal.
