For the next one, I'd like to put together my own work crew of competent individual painters, flooring installers and  handymen.

Specifically, I need an electrician, a gutter person, a painter, and a cleaning crew, but if you have other good rec's I'd certainly take them.

Scrambling to find backup painters.

For instance, commonly I have holes in the wall, but in some cases, large holes, so I hire a painter who'll paint and for a little more, including fixing the holes. 

I like taking run down homes and making them into nice livable houses and putting painters... plumbers and agents etc... to work and still making some money for me at the end of the day...more satisfaction than the stock market...

A painter's scraper by Hyde or Werner or Red Devil, something quality, not cheap.

Preacher -Painter-plumber-physician- policeman and so on.

If the house is already painted but they don't like the color, tell them that you will have a professional painter paint the room the color of choice, at their expense.

Good time to enter, but first make your multiple connections with plumbers, electricians, painters, pool guys etc... now.

I should have just spent more money and hire painters to get it done in a couple weeks.
