You tell your lender/business account holder you want to expand to bigger and better fish like REI. 

@Samuel Sedore  my only interest at this time in Canada is to fly fish... fly my plane up into the San Juans and Victoria Island.. etc etc.Lending rules in CA are far different than US  ...

It's the same as giving me a man a fish and teaching him to fish.It's hard to phantom how it's possible to make insane money in our crazy markets.

mortgage broker is not going to be able to bend the underwriting guidelines unless you go to a local commercial bank or credit union were they make their own rules.. if your looking for the least expensive debt that is conforming then all brokers fish in the same pond when it comes to underwriting criteria... don't let anyone hit you with pie in the sky ask for money up front promise you the moon then not fund.. lots of that going on right now on BP

But right now, I'd cut bait and fish in your new village. 

If you are a small fish investor like me, you'll run into bad contractors and bad tenants.  

I think I can go after a few hundred to a few thousand units with GCA but of course we will start smaller and as confidence builds up I will go after the big fish.
