The rezoning is not easy as you have to have the support of the city council person and the neighborhood association. 

That combined with the uncertainty of what the Mpls council will do next.

Their proactivity is geared that you will house someone who could not afford, or the council meant it that way.

Hello everyone, I'm Rich Melton and thanks to I have been watching the podcasts on YouTube for a while now and as I see it we are blessed to have a place like this to help each other.I am a Realtor and a City Council member just outside Kansas City in Gardner KS, so if you need anything, feel free to drop me a line.

I know there are plenty of questions about this topic already, but none of them exactly speak to my situation, so I'll pitch mine out as well.Let me also preface this with the fact that I am seeking council from my attorneys and mortgage brokers, so I am not basing any decisions solely upon input here.

Would love to hear what people think is going to happen in Seattle with the upcoming Airbnb regulations slated to be approved by the city council in October.  

It sounds like at least one council member is hoping to legislate first right of refusal first to renters and secondly to the city.
