If the gap still exists, is it more narrow today than it was during the lower rate environment?

Lenders are going to look at your credit and time in business for credit cards more than they are the form of the business.

In the first year, it's almost the same comparison so I'd rather own my furniture and have full control over them. 

Agreed with the others in this post.

I will say that the newer ones are short and sweet but they aren't at the bottom of the list, they are about 1/3rd of the way down.
