After serving our nation in the USAF, I started a career in Real Estate.  

If your in Higher end markets I suspect brokering for one who wants to put in the time energy and build a career is far better.What I see here on BP Is I suspect 95% of those that jump on here and say they are investor / wholesalers will not get past the first year if that.Whereas a real estate career if worked at is something you can do for a lifetime.. and if gets far easier as time goe's on..

I'm so excited to join BiggerPockets and begin my real estate investing career.

Note: If you see Real Estate investing as your new career and you really...really...really but really want a job, work with a real estate firm in investing, a developer, a hard money lender or someone like that so you learn faster.

Everything I mentioned above are things I enjoy doing but there is no one thing in that list that I would enjoy doing day in and day out every day for the rest of my career.

I'm hoping I can have a clean, smooth, and positive start to my investing career.

After 6 months of ups and downs, I can officially say my real estate investing career started with a house I bought for $1.  

After approximately 8 months with both of us working full time and with the funds from our house, we had enough saved up to finally close on 2 properties in downtown Denver (we actually built these on foreclosed land, probably more suitable for another post).

I was recently at a meeting where the speaker stated that many investors made their seed money in other ventures such as owning restaurants, a professional career such as CPA, etc.
