In future we could also rent out the main house that we currently live in.

Selling could net ~$60K after costs, relieving financial stress and providing a reset for future investments.

If it is worth 250K now it most likely will be worth more in the future.

You have a very good balanced approach to getting started and it's great you are prepping for the future.

As a result, I am committed to ensuring that other investors and professionals do not experience similar issues in the future.

It currently seems I’m not going to be coming back to the states anytime soon (given the upcoming projects within the next 3-4 years) but would really appreciate any advice on investment rental property strategy as so to start building the foundation for generational wealth/passive income.We have saved a substantial amount of money  for which the original intent was to buy our future primary residence with all cash if/when we moved back to the states.However, that’s not what’s going to build generational wealth and would rather put that money into passive income investments hence, real estate rental properties.

.: @Travis Boyd you’ll lose more in interest rate increases, potential property taxes increases, realtor commission and other transaction costs than you’ll pay on any future cap gain taxes.

For others, it may be diversify into stocks.
