Would you recommend that I pass, find an experienced partner, or plunge in?

I’m a long time listener of the podcast and am finally ready to take the plunge into becoming a landlord.

And though we knew the fall in prices was likely to get worse before it got better, the Wall Street Journal is taking it one step further and now asking the question of whether or not the rental price plunge could actually set off the next housing crisis.

I probably overpaid for it because the Dallas housing market has been stupid hot, but I can make the numbers mostly work and I really just wanted to take that plunge and make the first, hardest, step happen.The plan is for this to be an AirBnB type rental near DFW airport for a select clientele since my schedule is 2 weeks out and one week back in Dallas.  

Just take the plunge, which is the best cure for analysis paralysis. 

You will find managing from out of state that it costs $200+ to send a plumber to plunge the toilet.

I am also just starting out and still haven't actually made the plunge but gathering names and numbers and hopefully will have my first rental within a few months.
